1 How to Cancel a Booking

You may cancel your UWAY cab booking at any time before your scheduled pickup date and time by contacting us through any of the following channels:

For package/outstation bookings, all cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] with full booking details.

2 Local Rental & Airport Transfer Cancellation

3 Outstation / Package / Round Trip / One-Way Cancellation

4 Mid-Journey Cancellation

You may cancel your trip in the middle of the journey, however you will be required to pay the full booking amount to UWAY Car Rental. No refund shall be applicable for the uncompleted distance.

5 UWAY Wallet Credits

💡 UWAY Wallet Credits are refund credits issued to eligible customers. They can be redeemed in part or in full against any future UWAY booking across India and have no expiry date.

Where a cancellation amount qualifies for a refund under this policy, UWAY maintains a Zero Cash-Out Policy — the eligible refund amount is credited to the customer's UWAY Wallet as UWAY Wallet Credits. These credits may be redeemed in part or in full against any future UWAY booking.

Customers must inform UWAY regarding driver denial of a trip within 30 minutes of the scheduled pickup time through their registered phone number. Failure to do so will result in the booking being treated as a No-Show with no refund applicable.

6 No-Show Policy

⚠️ If the customer is not at the pickup location and/or the assigned driver is unable to reach the customer on their registered phone number at the scheduled pickup time, the driver shall wait for a maximum of 30 minutes before treating the booking as cancelled with no refund.

10 Refund Timeline

If you are eligible for a refund based on this Cancellation & Refund Policy, the refund will be credited to your UWAY Wallet within 30 working days. UWAY Wallet Credits can be used in full or in part for any future booking across India without expiry.

No cash refunds are issued. All eligible refunds are processed exclusively as UWAY Wallet Credits.

After availing or completing a service, no refund is applicable in any case.

11 Duty Slip Requirement

It is mandatory for both the customer and the driver to submit a complete, properly filled and signed (with date) duty slip at the end of the trip. UWAY Car Rental will not entertain any kind of dispute pertaining to a particular trip in the absence of a duty slip.

12 Jurisdiction

UWAY Car Rental Pvt. Ltd. is not a party to and is not responsible for any kind of dispute between a vendor/driver and a customer. However, if required, the jurisdiction for any kind of dispute with UWAY Car Rental Pvt. Ltd. shall exclusively be the Ahmedabad District Court, Gujarat, India.

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
